The ‘B’ walk starts and finishes at Langsett Reservoir visitor car park which has toilet facilities. Our route will take us around the reservoir, following well marked footpaths through woodland and onto moorland overlooking the reservoir which will give us wonderful views over the surrounding countryside. A few of the paths are uneven underfoot being rocky and with exposed tree routes, so a walking pole is highly recommended if you have one. There are some undulating sections of path and a gradual steep climb which will take us onto Hingcliff Common. This is where we will have our lunch stop whilst enjoying lovely views over the reservoir. There will be a pub stop en route, at the Waggon & Horses in Langsett, which we will reach about an hour after lunch. From here our route will follow the shoreline of the reservoir and through woodland finishing back at the visitor car park.
