The B walk starts in Hawsker, a small village which lies between Whitby and Robin Hoods Bay. From Hawsker we follow a track which takes us straight to the coastal path, and we follow this south to Robin Hood's Bay. For those not familiar with coastal paths, there will be quite a few ups and downs, as the path descends and then climbs out of the inlets that nature has carved into the coastline. You may find walking poles helpful, particularly if it has been raining as it may be slippery under foot in places. We will have our lunches in Robin Hood's Bay, and then return via the Cinder Track to Hawsker. Please note that there are no toilets at the start of the B walk. Hopefully, we'll be able to use the toilet on the bus.
