The B walk is also a circular walk from the pleasant stone built village of Calver. A Steady climb through Coombs Dale provides us with some marvellous views across the Peak district, followed by an equally steady descent into Great Longstone and our lunch stop. After lunch we pass through the tiny village of Rowland followed by another steady climb with views overlooking Hassop common with Hassop Hall in the distance. Finally, we drop down to Calver where the Coach will be waiting. There is quite a lot of ascent, but we will be taking it steady. Currently footpaths are very muddy so sticks and gaiters are recommended.
