An easy walk on good tracks (assuming they have dried out!), with little ascent/descent, so no need to rush. We start from Main Street in Skidby (please be ready to leave when the coach pulls up) and make our way to Risby park fishing ponds, where there is a cafe for our morning break. From there we continue to Walkington for lunch (where there is a choice of pubs), passing the 'lost' medieval village of Risby along the way. The return is past Fishpond Wood and Risby Park. There should be time to have a drink at the Sails cafe and use their facilities at the end. Out of courtesy to the proprieters of both cafes, please buy a drink if you intend to use their facilities.
