The B walk will start and finish in Baslow, where there will be toilets available before and at the end of the walk. From Baslow we walk through the Chatsworth estate following the course of the River Derwent, towards Carlton Lees. Stopping short of Carlton Lees we head over to Edensor, where we can take a coffee break. This lovely little village belongs to the Chatsworth estate and the houses are occupied by estate workers. From Edensor we take a steady climb out of the village and then head over towards Pilsley where we can enjoy refreshments at the Devonshire Arms or Chatsworth Farm Shop cafe. After lunch we leave Pilsley and follow footpaths through the surrounding farmland to return to Baslow. The walk will involve some steady climbs, but as a result we will enjoy some beautiful views over the Chatsworth estate and surrounding countryside.
