Coastal walk Bridlington
Description:
We start our walk at the coach park at Limekiln Lane at Bridlington where there are toilets facilities available, then following the coastal path, past Sewerby Hall and Gardens on to Danes Dyke where we can have our coffee stop. There is a kiosk selling refreshments and toilet facilities, or we could have our coffee by the beach before ascending some steep steps up to the coast path. Continuing on to the South Landing where we follow a path slightly inland before joining the coast path again, and where there are beautiful views of Bridlington Bay. Upon reaching the lighthouse we can take our lunch break, where there are toilet and café facilities. Suitably refreshed we continue past the golf course and the lovely inlets of Flamborough Head to the North Landing where there will be a pub stop before travelling further on to Thornwick Bay and then arriving at Flamborough village where we will have an opportunity to have an extended break to allow everyone to have fish and chips, if they wish, or visit the pubs. There are also toilets facilities and a Co-Op supermarket in the village.
