We start this our second stage of the Yorkshire Wolds Way at South Cave firstly passing by Comber Dale, Weedley Dale and East Dale on our way up to High Hunsley Beacon. From here it’s downhill to Swin Dale and then a short detour to the village of North Newbald for our lunch stop, where there are two pubs at our disposal, The Tiger Inn and The Gnu Inn. After lunch we retrace our steps to re-join the YWW and climb to Newbald Wold, before dropping down to Arras Wold. At this point we leave the YWW and follow a broad track into the village of Sancton to meet the coach.
