GRASSINGTON TO BURNSALL CIRCULAR
Yorkshire Dales—Grassington

Description:

We start with refreshments at a café in the village square, and then walk down the main road to Sedber Lane, which descends to the scenic Linton Falls on the River Wharfe. From here we follow the Dales Way, next to the river for about half a mile. We then take a path on the left that skirts round the lower valley- side giving views of the river, until we reach Hebden Village. We walk through Hebden, and take a path that leads down towards the river and joins Burnsall Lane. We follow the lane and then a path down to Burnsall Bridge, and cross into the village. Here we can have our lunchtime stop in the lovely Red Lion Pub and Hotel, or in a café. After our stop, we take the Dales Way , following the river to near Grassington, and joining the road that leads into the village. Hopefully we will have time to explore the historic village with its interesting shops, cafes and pubs.
