EYAM CIRCULAR via BRADWELL
Derbyshire—Eyam

Description:

We start today’s walk from the car/coach park in Eyam and progress on a steady climb towards Eyam Moor. Passing Ladywash Mine then crossing Sir William Hill Road towards Gotherage Plantation, here we have excellent views of Froggatt and Curbar edges. We now have a gradual descent to Stoke Ford, then on to Abney via Abney Clough. Our route now takes us via Over Dale to Bradwell Edge, where we continue our descent to our lunch stop at the Shoulder of Mutton in the village of Bradwell. After lunch we leave Bradwell on route to Great Hucklow below Camphill Gliding Field. We proceed to Foolow via Grindlow, and then it’s across pleasant open pasture back to Eyam.
